1.      Coral Beach

When one mentions Terengganu, most would have the word ‘beach’ pop into their minds. It’s true; Terengganu is one of the states in Malaysia, which is famous for its beaches. With so many beaches around, we believe that Coral Beach, which is in Redang Island, is worth visiting. Trust us; you can spend all day relaxing here at Coral Beach! While you’re there, why not check-in at their small and cosy resort?

2.      Tanjung Aru Beach

Stunning beaches are not only abundant in Peninsular Malaysia; there are a lot in East Malaysia as well! One of the most popular ones is the Tanjung Aru Beach, located in Kota Kinabalu. The beach is located roughly around 6km from Kota Kinabalu, so expect to see a lot of locals upon arrival. There are also stalls which sell food and drinks there. Also, why not stay a little longer to watch the sunset?

3.      Pantai Kerachut

Most of the time, people visit Penang for the food. However, your trip to Penang wouldn’t be complete if you don’t visit the beaches there! If you’re planning to go to Penang National Park, we recommend hiking to Pantai Kerachut, also known as Turtle Beach. Although you’re practically not allowed to swim at the beach, it’s an excellent place for pictures and a stroll. At the far end of the beach, there’s a Turtle Sanctuary; how often do you get the chance to see turtles, right?

4.      Paya Beach

Are you familiar with Tioman Island in Pahang? If you are, then Paya Beach is a must-visit while you’re at the island. Here at Paya Beach, you’ll get to see colourful and beautiful fishes and coral reefs. So, remember to bring your camera before coming! Additionally, there are also a few places which you can do some rock climbing.

5.      Sematan Beach

In Sarawak, there are a lot of stunning beaches as well. One of them is the Sematan Beach at Sematan! Here at Sematan Beach, there very few litters around, one of the many reasons why locals enjoy visiting it. It is also an insta-worthy spot, so make sure to snap some photos when you’re here! Make sure to try out the Banana Boat ride as well.
