History of The Fish Bowl
As mentioned, The Fish Bowl was established by founder Aaron Lim in 2016 as Malaysia’s first-ever premium poké restaurant. Its original outlet was located right outside of Sunway University and was a victory among university students in no time. Today, The Fish Bowl has ten other outlets located across the Klang Valley, serving fresh, healthy and addictive poké bowls that cater to the local palate.
Aaron, a hospitality graduate, explained that he found it challenging to find wholesome food as a health-conscious individual in Malaysia. We agree, Aaron. 2016 was not a healthy time. He decided to bring Hawaiian poké bowls to the country when he discovered the salad alternative to be trending overseas. Since then, The Fish Bowl has been encouraging clean eating among the younger generation as well as the old and proves that not all healthy foods put us to sleep.
