Although having a small interior, you can spot Goon Wah Restaurant easily with their additional ‘alfresco’ dining at the 5-foot-walkway.

Although this restaurant does not have as glamorous of an appearance as its name suggests, you can easily spot this huge restaurant with its impressive size that spans more than two shop lots long. Even with such ample space, it’s not enough to contain the number of customers that visit this restaurant—bumps and destroying of plates being a common sight in this restaurant, especially at dinner time.

Though this restaurant does not serve any unique dishes, it boasts a line-up of Malaysian favourite Chinese cuisines that are delicious yet reasonably priced. Some of their customer favourites that you have to try would be their Belacan prawn and Steamed Fish (Garoupa). As mentioned earlier, this restaurant can often get packed during dinner time.
