Although they call themselves Strangers at 47, they’re no stranger to the KL locals.  Moreover, Strangers at 47 is one of the most popular cafes in Petaling Jaya that is worth visiting.  Strangers at 47 is a local invention by co-founders Sean and Lim Sing Yi, proud graduates from Taylor’s University.  With a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management, they can apply their skills in the management of Strangers at 47. 

This cafe stands out from others by offering a crepe & coffee concept inspired by a crepe experience in Melbourne.  With a wide variety of crepes, you’ll have several menu items to choose from.  One of their most popular crepes is their Uncle Simon, a crepe named after their chef of 7 years!

If you aren’t a health nut, you’re probably wondering what paleo diet is. Having a more extended operating hour than the typical café, opening till the late hours of 1 am on Fridays and Sundays, Rekindle would be the place to go if you’re looking to satisfy your late-night coffee cravings. Having a rustic theme with brick walls and a vintage bicycle leaning against the counter, Rekindle café, bears an interior resembling a little cottage having a warm atmosphere with yellow lighting overhead.

Famous for their penchant for serving Nutella infused dishes and beverages, their Nutella cake and Upside Down (Nutella-coated glass, topped with milk and a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream) is a must-have if you are a chocolate lover. 4. Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly

Though the name of this café might put your tongue in a twist, you are sure to unwind and catch a breather at Coffee Good Golly Miss Molly. As this cafe is assembled with exposed brick walls and wooden flooring, it bears a calm and homey atmosphere making it an ideal place to chill.

Having a menu centred on the serving of coffee, cakes, and pastries, one cake that you must-try is their Tiramisu cake. What makes this café a favourite among the locals isn’t just its aesthetics though, as it is known to serve up a wide selection of mouth-watering comfort foods.

Some signature mains in this café include The Mother Porker Burger, The Stringy Bac+Cheese and The Lazy Pig.
